Can you use the OxyGo at night?
The design of the OxyGo POC is designed for 24 hour use. This is assuming the patient can trigger while sleeping. If the client does not trigger the OxyGo, it will automatically go into auto-pulse to deliver oxygen. Also, the bolus is adjusted to a higher volume when the respiratory rate is reduced during sleep.
If you feel it is appropriate, it may be worth activating the alarm indicating auto-pulse. Should that happen perhaps overnight oximetry would be recommended.
